Bio: Florian has a passion for compilers, virtual machines and dynamic languages. For a long time, his dynamic language of choice was Scheme, for which (and in which) he implemented a Scheme-to-JavaScript and a JavaScript-to-Scheme compiler.
5 years ago, Florian joined Google's VM team in Aarhus Denmark. After working on V8 he was part of the team that designed the Dart language. He was later responsible for Dart's core libraries and is now leading the dart2js (the Dart-to-JavaScript compiler) team.
